Nothing here knows how to drive. Each car sees five distances to the nearest wall and its own speed, and that is all. The network that turns those six numbers into steering and throttle is not trained, it is evolved, and so is its shape: it starts with no hidden neurons at all and grows them one mutation at a time. No libraries, no build step, about 600 lines. Read the code.
